i like to know why discuz 1.01 mysql always down , is it my server povider problem or others problem?

does discuz 2.0 coml version also like that always down ?
it makes me no confident to buy discuz 2.0

so i like to know will it like discuz 1 ?

sorry to saying that , but i really want to know before i use money to buy discuz 2.0 .

if your board is down every several days, that must be problems of your host
i couldnt give you a guarantee that database server will never down(so does anybody else). but 2.0 is much more stable than 1.0x serials.

i'd like you to give me some more information to describe your database problem with 1.0(including which table, how often, size, price of your host, your online users, your posts,etc), i will help you to figure out the problem

yes my forum downing few times per a month
i have a server in datacenter

my forum normally has around 100 members + guests per a day (online at the same time), 9700 Topic , 135000 posts and 6600 members

it always said [error too many connection ...... something like that]

your own server?
too many connection is not caused by board software but mysqld
right configuration of mysqld will solve this problem

if you have your own server, the problem will be very easy to handle

你还没有说明是什么问题啊，仅仅是too many connections吗？
如果是的话 用2.0打开pconnect = 1即可
如果用1.0,里面的pconnect有个bug，把lib/mysql.php中mysql_connect都换成mysql_pconnect一般就可以搞定了
如果仍有问题 可以尝试通过my.cnf或mysqld_safe脚本的修改增大连接数到500
